Taranaki's biggest and most iconic concert venue, the Bowl of Brooklands is situated within Pukekura Park. It was constructed by the community, for the community back in 1957. 

The large bowl-shaped valley containing a lake was transformed into one of the world’s most recognised and acclaimed natural amphitheatres. It is now a unique venue comprising an impressive outdoor sound stage over the lake, large grass amphitheatre and public amenities.

Located in the heart of New Plymouth it can be accessed by foot from numerous entrances, with vehicle access via Brooklands Road and ample off street parking for large events available at the Racecourse on Coronation Avenue.
